The recent extension of the motorway from Palma to this end of the island means that, on a good day, you can comfortably drive to Palma in less than 40 minutes. Heavy investment in the infrastructure over the past few years has been necessary to meet the ever increasing demand of the summer tourist industry and in general, prices have continued to increase, seeing rises of up to 8% year on year.
